Basic Needs From Nature

Nature is where our basic needs come from, which is food, shelter, clothes, and oxygen.

Meats and vegetables came from nature. Meat came from animals, fish came from fish,  pork came from pig, beef came from cow, chevon from goat and chicken from chicken. There are many fishes but not all are edible in the Philippines "tilapia"is the fish that is usually found on the table. Pork is usually cooked in sinigang and lechon which is one of the Filipino’s most delicious foods. My father cooks “beef with broccoli”, which is my favorite beef dish. In chicken the most usual dish with that is fried chicken, the food almost everyone eat. I do not know many dish that has chevon, but I know one “caldereta” my father cooked this ones and I liked it a lot.

A house is made of cement and sometimes wood, which commonly comes from the environment. Cement comes from limestone then the carbon dioxide has to be removed, the materials are fused to from clinker, the clinker is grind into powder which is very fine. Wood comes from trees which is pretty obvious.

There are different fabrics that made clothes which are (commonly) cotton and silk. Cotton came from cotton plant. Silk came from the material produced by the silk worm to make its cocoon.

Oxygen is made by plants. It works like this, we breathe oxygen that comes from plants and we take out carbon dioxide which plants need and plant supply oxygen to us and so on.

Can you imagine a place without natural resources? I think we cannot live in a place like that, so we should protect and take care of our environment.
